I think I have lots to say....but details will have to wait. Mainly I want to scold all of you who did not come to the iMUG meeting on Wednesday. It was so much fun. We had two rep's from Apple presenting. They are here helping set up the Online Support ipod center. They showed us some cool gadgets, then we got to pick their brains for over an hour. I commend them for being so patient with the small group of people who were there, and all the questions we had.
I'm also curious to see if any other fellow UPEI-er's have heard anything about the possible schedual changes that upper levels are discussing. A professor of mine mentioned it in a lecture this week, wondering what we thought. I think it's crap. It doesn't make sense. According to the "top" there is a sever shortage of classrooms. OK. So their plan is to change class times. All new class times will end on the hour at similar times. Hmmm... with the exception of a few afternoon class times... most classes end at the same time now. You either take three 1-hour blocks, one 3-hour block or two 2-hour blocks??? This is per week. The 4-hours a week schedual cost the same. It gives you the same credit, and enables you to sit in the class for 1 more hour a week. YAY? There was also mention of labs on Saturdays, and 3 hour classes being held from 4pm on only. Shall we all sit through a 3-hour supper class? I'm afraid I'm not seeing how these possible changes will help the classroom crisis, or make things any better. I'm seeing more scheduling difficulties for students, and a lot of pains. But perhaps I don't know all the story.
Dodgeball tournament on Saturday!!! 12-3 @ UPEI!!!! Come see us win!
I'm going paintballing this afternoon. If i die, I give my crayons to...

So, it might just be true. My Soc. Theory prof mentioned it in class today...well, not really, but he asked for our thoughts on having a 2-hour class on theory, with a 20 min. break. Perhaps he's thinking of having that time-frame for the class if it does indeed change? So, word's getting around...when do we start planning our protest?

Now. Well, when we are sure we have the details.
