Whew. Between working all day, and Buckwheat, I'm tired. Perhaps it's time to settle down with one of the books i got yesterday. I went to the most amazing used books store yesterday. I was in Halifax yesterday to pick up my sister, and we hit up the Freak Lunch Box and a bookstore called JBW (or JWB.... i can't quite remember, i was too amazed by it's contents). It was full, and i mean full, of used books. Wall to wall to ceiling to floor. I picked up three on gender/women's studies. The prices were great too. It was great.

I bought a Calvin and Hobbes anthology and a book on utopianism when I was last in that bookstore. I had to say no to approximately 30 books I saw that I really wanted.
That store is insanely good for the head and bad for the wallet.

Hmm, do you have an address for this wonderful store? (I feel guilty for spending so much at Indigo...must redeem myself with buying used!)

Correction: The bookstore is JWD books.
Sorry!

There was a bookfair of used books at the Confederation Library a couple of days ago. You really had to look, but there was some good stuff.

Ahh, but the Friends of the Confederation Centre Pinchpenny Fair is tomorrow, and I saw lots of books when I left today (starts at 10, lineup at 9!)
