The past few classes of Men's Experience, a course I am taking, have been highly thought provoking. We were given four questions to brainstorm on. Then the professor divided the class up between males and females and let us get to work. Today we began to go over each other's lists. I am interested to hear what other people have as answers to the questions we were given (especially since we have a small class with only 3 guys in it). When I have the complete lists from class I will post some of the brainstorming. The questions are as follows:
-
What are men like?
- What are men expected to be like?
- What are women like?
- What are women expected to be like?

I'm ready for round two tomorrow, how about you? And what, we give the guys a 10 second head start out of the classroom?

If its a Mens expericne class why are the men doign the running? shouldn't it be the girls running? Why are women in class? shouldn't you be home bare foot and pregnant bakign a pie or something. Leave the smart school stuff to the men darlin, don't worry about it. We'll take care of it and you...sigh if I was there I'd so be in that class.

Well, isn't that the question? Why were the guys running? Why were all of their 'expectations' of women positive things, unlike the girls who came up with 'jealous' and 'catty' for themselves? Don't rely on the pie stereotypes there, dear, you can come up with something better...

They were just out numbered even takign the scientific equivalent (3 women to equal one man both mentatly and physqually) thats the only reason there running. And the pie sterotype needs to brought back because of this whole "femminist movment" nonsense some idiot decided to give women a voice and make them people...gesh the whole pie sterotype ahs been underused. It needs to come back! its old school vintage!

Good lord, remind me to beat him up tomorrow, ok? I know it's the response he wants, but, yeesh, he really seems to need a good beating after those comments.
