I have built the strangest set of walls. I want people to help me, sometimes i even expect them to help me, but often enough I won't let them. Then i get more frustrated when they don't try harder. Very circular. No wonder i'm always spinning in circles.

To me, you sound like an idealist, you sound like you won't settle for anything less than you should expect from life.
Life has never been about settling for less. The basic nature of life is always looking for more, and not about lowering expectations.
We are the result of eons of critters who tried to make things better. (and you think You can babble!)
