Up the Middle
So i found a place that will ship me the boots. Now i have to decide which pair. There is the pair i originally posted, and another pair. Both pairs are Black Doc Martins and both are "20 eyelit" which means "knee high".
1) Black Smooth These boots are beautiful and shiny. The problematic part for me is that they have no zipper (is this good or bad i can't decide? It will look awesome, but i will also spend the majority of my time lacing them). The second issue is that they are unisex. This makes me wonder if they will be wider and less fitting which is not good.
2) Black Illusion. This boot looks very chic and comfortable. They are a bit less shiny :( but they have a zipper for easy on/off. I am also of the belief that they are of the same design and leather as my red Doc's (for those who know them) that are super comfy and did not need "breaking in".
What do you think? I want to order by the end of the weekend (21 days shipping !gasp!) so place your votes!

Alright. I am a life-time fan of docs, and weighing all the options...
I have to go with number 2. Although the traditionalist in me says go with the classic number 1,
my intuitive feeling is, you'll be happiest with the black illusion. Augh!!!!!! I'm waffling even as I speak!! No, the softer leather was used in the original doc Martin boot. Number 2. No question.....
