Peas On The Moon

1. I want to be at the park.
2. I love the taste of coffee, but it hates me.

3. People are not getting any smarter. If anything, they are getting more stupid.

4. I leave in less than a week for my mini vacation in Ontario. I get to meet my nieces for the first time, and of course see my sister and co.

5. I have a sick fish. Lillian must get better before i leave......if not, who wants to play fish doctor?

I do hate this time of year. Everyone is scurrying in their respective directions to their respective schools. "Goodbye" becomes the word of the week. I hate goodbyes, which is why i hate this time of the year so much. I know they are rarely a forever goodbye, but none-the-less, i hate them.

Some people may wonder if this year is worse for goodbyes because i could have been one of those people going away, but it's not. I'm not upset I'm not trotting off to get my masters right now. It's not my time. Right now I'm enjoying my break. I know if i get school-sick i can run to the university to hang out or haul a theory book off my shelf to read. This does not make me any less excited or happy for those doing it.

This is supposed to be a happy time of year for me...or, well a happy month. One thing I am really looking forward to this month is my mini vacation to London, Ontario to visit my sister and co. It will be good to get away, see people, and wander a new city.

On a side note, but with the same theme, I'm saying a goodbye to my walking buddy today. Rogue is going to live with someone else, or so i told her. Truthfully i sold my child. (one of them anyhow) She is a good little iPod. This means Roy will come to London with me. He seems to get to do all of the traveling. In the meantime i will wait with baited breath to see what Apple releases in new iPods this month (perhaps even on my birthday!). I figure if they release them on my birthday Steve Jobs is obligated to give me one, right? Actually my earnings from Rogue will get me one....hopefully.... how cruel does that sound.... profit from selling children... oh dear.. i'll stop digging my grave now.

Tomorrow is Mouses Birthday. She turns one. She is crazy as ever, maybe even more so. I have witnesses for the evening she bit my finger and wouldn't let go!

Yesterday I added another fish to my fish family. Meet Lillian!

She is super tiny. So tiny in fact that when i scooped her out of the bag with my hand, she could swim in the water in the palm of my hand. She is pale in color but has a vibrant bluish lilac shine.

My patience flew out the door this week. Due, i'm sure, to many things. One of them being the heat. So it has been a bit of a long week as i tried not to bite people. I think i did fairly well as there is no blood on the floor. I think certain events through the week- you know those little things that get you through- have made a huge difference. One of these things is having some fun family home. Another have been some fun visits at work by special people and some chats. Thank you. Today, it's been me sitting here reading these comics giggling to myself...

I'm hoping to get somewhere cool this weekend and take time time to relax and maybe swim.... and i mean "cool" as in the opposite of "hot and humid".

P.s. I finished Harry Potter... Twas good.

Nine days and counting. I have re-read the first 6 books. I have my copy pre-ordered. I am ready for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I go through various stages of excitement. The first is basic "a new Harry Potter book to read" excitement. The second is "i want to know what will happen and how it will end". And the third is not so much excitement at all, but more of a sadness that the series will be over after this book. Though this thought makes me sad I think it would ruin the series for it to go on forever. So I will wait impatiently for my book, and if anyone tells me what happens before i finish, i'll shoot them.

Time flies when you are having fun, or maybe time just flies. The past month has flown by. Suzanne and Cam were home for a week. There were events and work and relaxing to be done. A lot of reading too. I've been trying to make my way through the Harry Potter series again in preparation for the final and 7th installment coming late July. I'm psyched. I am 3/4 through the fourth book, so just two and a 1/4 left to finish by July 21st.... I can do it. I've enjoyed rereading them. It's reminding me of how much i love them. I want a niffler.....

In other news, my apple family is growing. I adopted Bella a few weeks ago. She is a Blueberry iBook G3. One of the first iBooks ever released by Apple. She runs well considering she only has a 300mhz processor.

I want to sun to stay out and play with me.

I've been a bad blogger again. It seems the more i have going on the less time i spend on the internet talking about it. So, to recap. . .

1. I got the boots! We are not best friends yet. I'm still in the process of breaking them in, or maybe they are breaking me in...
2. I finished my last semester as an undergrad student at UPEI. I'm happy with how the semester went. I made it! Take that UPEI.
3. I'm in the process of moving out....
4. I'm hungry. . ..
